She has parents, a sister named Uweya and an older brother, Demuriath.
In her community, when Demuriath’s name, often in some combination with the Raven Queen, was mentioned, it would caused such a stir. Often, her mother would become stricken with some combination of guilt, regret, and grief. Her mother's crying fits would only end after drinking herself to sleep. Her father on the other hand, would typically show some degree of anger. His rants ranged from passionate oaths and fist shaking to full-on explosions of rage with the smashing of furniture. She and her sister learned over the years to make themselves scarce when their elder brother was spoken of.
Profession
She is a PinYin monk.
PinYin is an order of Githzerai monks. They honor Erathis and the monks’ central philosophy is structured around three pillars – Justice, Scholarship, and Kindness. Followers are expected to cultivate themselves morally and intellectually. Corruption is to be routed out, no matter if it is disguised or propagated by authority. The monks strive to be generous and kind to the innocent and unfortunate.

Motivation for Adventuring
In order to complete her training and become a fully vested PinYin Monk, she must venture into the world and perform three great deeds: one for each pillar of the PinYin philosophy. Once she feels she has sufficiently contributed to the pursuit of Justice, Scholarship and Kindess, she can call herself a true PinYin. What path she follows after that is, of course, an open road.
She would be happy to destroy as many Githyanki as possible and hopefully knock some sense into her elder brother.
