This letter and map were found by Demuriath on a dead messenger sent from the the Church of Bahamut to the House of the Sun. Undead forces were trying to intercept this message, along with a wooden box containing clear liquid vials and a symbol of Bahamut.

For several years now, we have been monitoring for cosmic signs of ominous portent as is our habit. In recent months, there has been a convergence of constellations that predict dire times ahead. Ever vigilant to protect this plane from otherworldly intrusion, the Platinum Order sent out agents to all corners of the lands, trying to find any signs of an earthly manifestation of what is to come.

Some particularly disturbing rumors were reported coming from the Nentir Vale. It seems that mysterious kidnappings have become a common occurrence and this map points to some locations of rumored disappearances. While we do not know the exact nature of this threat, we believe that the "old bastion" of the Nerath Empire may not be secure anymore. Therefore, we task you with ensuring that the desideratum is retrieved from it's current hiding place and transported to a new and safe location.
