Intrigue in Sherrbyr

left

  • Time - Middle of Spring

Synopsis

  • After Tiamat's extortion and blackmail scheme was uncovered, the group traveled to Sherrbyr to aid Inogo to stop a feud that threatens his city.
  • The group found out that the high priest of Bahamut, Irfelujhar, is corrupt. He had used Timothy, a paladin-in-training and pure devotee of Bahamut, for a dangerous and secret ritual. Because only Bahamut’s high priest could complete the ritual, it was essentially useless to Tiamat. What she needed was a double agent. Which is why she made a bargain with Vecna to seduce Irfelujhar into her service.
  • After they defeated the corrupt high priest, the liberators learned that Chillreaver had been orchestrating the conspiracy. On a visit to Bahamut’s temple in Celestia, Irfelujhar had stolen the only copy of a ritual that enabled Bahamut’s high priest to summon his patron in physical form.
  • The party raced to confront Chillreaver at his mountain lair. However, faced with overwhelming odds the Liberators again choose to retreat rather then risk defeat.
